Help end Putins war ! An invasion of a peaceful country that has no support by either his generals, citizens and certainly not the cannon fodder in their 20s he is sending to their death, we petition the EU (and US) to offer 3 years residence permit and possible citizenship to troops that desert and hand over or destroy equipment. EU and US has given rightly send 100s of millions of equipment to Ukraine to fight of the invading forces but they need more help. A more humane, efficient and cheaper way is to offer the demoralized troops a way out. Stay, freeze to death or be blown up or desert and join us in Europe or US for a break or a new life. Our proposal would give the Russian troops a second chance in Europe or America and help end the conflict. Our proposal is this Deserter = amnesty + residence permit (A+RP) Deserter + troop carrying vehicle / minor vehicle = A+RP + 2,500EUR Deserter + tank type vehicle / rocket-launcher etc = A+RP + 5,000EUR plus wife or one family member Deserter + helicopter = A+RP + 20,000EUR + family Deserter + fighter jet = A+RP + 50,000EUR + family If the deserter can prove they destroyed the vehicle the same applies but the reward is halved.
