Summary:
China has no laws to protect animal rights, therefore cat abuse and torture is a horrendous and extremelly prevalent issue in China. Cats in China are tortured in the most inhumane ways for profit to satisfy the perverted needs of zoosadists - and many of the buyers promoting this "market" of such content are even from Europe. Information about this problem is barely shared outside of China and people are unaware of its scale.

Address and work on solving cat abuse problem in China
While things like pornography are highy regulated in China, there are no laws protecting companion, stray and non endangered animals. This has led to a perverted market, mainly driven by Chinese (and partially Indonesian) cat torturers, making a paid content showing cats being tortured in the most inhumane ways - skinned, burned, boiled, electrocuted, acid poured or fed, blendered, bones crushed, eyes poked, limbs cut off, stomped - all while alive. These are just a small list of ways this is being done, and there is a huge increase in even more deprived ways these poor cats (and sometimes dogs, monkeys or other animals) are tortured for fun. The goal that these torturers have is to prolong the suffering as long as possible, sometimes taking a few days of constant torture before the cat is finally killed. The more brutal it is, the higher price is paid to view such content. While for a long time this was shared mainly in the Deep Web, a lot of such content is now shared in open platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and more enclosed platforms like QQ and Telegram due to no repercussion for such behaviour. Being untracked and unpunished emboldens these people to proceed with more advanced ways of torture. Volunteers trying to infiltrate such groups claim that on average there is a new video of cat torture every 2-3 hours. EVERY 2-3 HOURS, sometimes each video containing a group of animals at once. Stolen pets, stray cats, or even cats bred specifically for this perverted reason. The influx of this content is constantly growing, and the amount of people getting enjoyment and pleasure from torturing cats or buying this content is also growing, spreading further away from China too and deeper into the West. Lately there were articles from CNN, Metro and other articles emphasizing this issue, but it has not reached the attention it needs, even with a shocking data it showed. Volunteers fighting for this cause (mainly felineguardians.org) need much more attention and should have their word spread much wider. Therefore the goal of this petition is to pressure the Ambassador of China to the European Union (and anyone who is working on regulations related to China) to address this issue and the Government of People's Republic of China to be honest about what is happening in the country, and work on implementing animal protection rights as soon as possible. This is repulsive and horrendous that already for a few years government of People's Republic of China is completely ignoring this problem and allowing such perverted people to continue their actions - less scared than ever.Support the petition "Address and work on solving cat abuse problem in China":
